The relationship between personality traits, as a macrocognitive concept, an‎d translation as a microcognitive is a growing scope in Translation Studies. The relationship between Translation Studies an‎d Psychology is an ever-expan‎ding trend, an‎d the influence an‎d importance of the translator in the translation process cannot be ignored. In order to examine, the psychometric tool called the HEXACO model (2007) an‎d the House model for translation quality assessment were utilized. The sample size was 100 student translators who took part from the Bachelor of Arts majoring in Translation Studies at the several Universities of Isfahan province in Iran in 2022-2023. The participants were chosen according to their availability, accessibility, an‎d proximity during the application of questionnaire; for that reason, the sampling can be called the purposeful sampling. Four translation eva‎luators were chosen on the basis of their experience which was between 14 to 17 years in assessing the students’ translation performance an‎d teaching translation courses. They eva‎luated the target text an‎d scored them based on the pre-defined criteria. According to the results, there were the meaningful relationships between personality traits an‎d translation quality assessment in the humanities genres. The obtained results indicated a meaningful relationship between some Facet-Level Scales an‎d subscales of personality traits an‎d the Humanities genres. Accordingly, the comprehension of both the translation process an‎d product is subject to the consideration of the translators’ individually different traits that are going to be utilized in translator training an‎d job performance.

رابطه بين ويژگيهاي شخصيتي، بهعنوان يك مفهوم كلان شناختي، و ترجمه بهعنوان يك خرد شناختي، حوزهاي رو به رشد در مطالعات ترجمه است. رابطه بين مطالعات ترجمه و روانشناسي روندي رو به گسترش است و نمي توان تأثير و اهميت مترجم را در فرآيند ترجمه ناديده گرفت. به منظور بررسي، از ابزار روانسنجي به نام مدل هگزاكو )7002( HEXACOو مدل هاوس ( )7002براي ارزيابي كيفيت ترجمه استفاده شد. حجم نمونه 000دانشجوي مترجمي بود كه در سال 0207در مقطع كارشناسي رشته مترجمي از چندين دانشگاه استان اصفهان شركت كردند. شركت كنندگان با توجه به در دسترس بودن، در دسترس بودن و نزديكي آنها در طول استفاده از پرسشنامه انتخاب شدند. به همين دليل نمونه گيري را مي توان نمونه گيري هدفمند ناميد. چهار داور ترجمه بر اساس تجربه آنها بين 02تا 02سال در ارزيابي عملكرد ترجمه دانشجويان و تدريس دوره هاي ترجمه انتخاب شدند. متن مورد نظر را ارزيابي كرده و بر اساس معيارهاي از پيش تعيين شده به آن امتياز دادند. بر اساس نتايج، بين ويژگي هاي شخصيتي و ارزيابي كيفيت ترجمه در ژانرهاي علوم انساني رابطه معناداري وجود دارد. نتايج بهدستآمده حاكي از وجود رابطه معنادار بين برخي مقياسهاي سطح وجهي و خرده مقياسهاي ويژگيهاي شخصيتي و ژانرهاي علوم انساني بود. بر اين اساس، درك هر دو فرآيند ترجمه و محصول منوط به در نظر گرفتن ويژگيهاي متفاوت مترجمان است كه قرار است در آموزش مترجم و عملكرد شغلي مورد استفاده قرار گيرد. كليدواژه ها: مدل هگزاكو، ارزيابي كيفيت ترجمه، ويژگيهاي شخصيتي، مدل هاوس، ژانر علوم انساني
