This study was primarily aimed to investigate the predictability of two factors known as self-efficacy an‎d English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching mindsets of Iranian English teachers an‎d three latent variables, namely, emotional exhaustion, emotional labor an‎d adaptability. Iranian English as a Foreign Language teachers (n = 301) were asked to respond to the corresponding questionnaires an‎d the results were entered the into SPSS. To make sure that the scales used in this study had had a satisfying construct validity an‎d reliability, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of each scale was extracted using AMOS software. After running the initial model, non-significant paths were removed to improve model fit. The results of path analysis of the corrected model revealed that self-efficacy can positively predict teachers’ adaptability an‎d deep acting. In addition, self-efficacy negatively predicted teachers’ emotional exhaustion. Teachers fixed an‎d growth mindsets negatively predicted deep acting which is considered as an emotional labor strategy. The results of the current study have some implications for improving the area of EFL teaching an‎d teacher development. Additionally, some limitations an‎d suggestions for further research are also provided.

اين مطالعه با هدف بررسي قابليت پيش‌بيني دو متغير خودكارآمدي و ذهنيت تدريس زبان انگليسي در معلمان ايراني زبان انگليسي و سه متغير نهفته فرسودگي هيجاني، كار هيجاني و تطابق پذيري انجام شد. از سيصد و يك معلمان ايراني زبان انگليسي خواسته شد كه به پرسشنامه هاي مربوطه پاسخ دهند و نتايج وارد نرم افزار SPSS شد. براي اطمينان از اينكه مقياس‌هاي مورد استفاده در اين پژوهش از روايي ساختاري و پايايي رضايت‌بخشي برخوردار هستند، از تحليل عاملي تأييدي هر مقياس با استفاده از نرم‌افزار AMOS استفاده شد. سپس، مدل اوليه مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت و مسيرهاي بدون معني آماري حذف شد. نتايج تحليل مسير مدل اصلاح شده نشان داد كه خودكارآمدي مي‌تواند به طور مثبت تطابق پذيري و كنش عميق معلمان را پيش‌بيني كند. علاوه بر اين، خودكارآمدي به طور منفي فرسودگي هيجاني معلمان را پيش بيني كرد. معلمان ذهنيت هاي ثابت و رشدگرا را به طور منفي كنش عميق را كه يك استراتژي كار هيجاني است، پيش بيني كردند. نتايج مطالعه حاضر داراي برخي مفاهيم و همچنين محدوديت ها و پيشنهادهايي براي تحقيقات بيشتر و معلمان در زمينه تدريس زبان انگليسي است.
