English Abstract
Autobiography used to indicate any kind of personal narrative, without applying restrictions to this type of writing. Philippe Lejeune’s works during the seventies on this field which resulted in a precise selection of rules that we know as autobiographical pact led to a better perception of autobiography as a distinct genre. Suggesting these codes has inevitably led to the elimination of a good number of narratives, which up to that point were considered autobiographical. The focus of this research was a comparative study of two personal narratives, written by two female writers known internationally, based on the theory of Philippe Lejeune. Thus, the Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter (1958) by Simone de Beauvoir and A Man’s Place (1983) by Annie Ernaux, have been analyzed, with the objective of recognizing the narrative that was closer to the theorist’s definition of autobiography. It seemed important to have a look at the origins and the viewpoints of the novelists along the way, since writing a personal narrative, is in fact a very subjective action where the authors’ characteristics cannot but to reveal themselves. Finally, the application of the autobiographical pact revealed that Beauvoir’s writing was much closer to Lejeune’s definition of the genre, whereas Ernaux’s style rather resembled a memorialist kind of writing. خود-زندگي نامه- نويسي عبارتي بود كه به انواع گوناگون نوشتار حسب حال و زندگي نامه اطلاق ميشد بي آنكه تفاوتي ميان اين روايات قائل شود. مطالعات و كوششهاي فيليپ لوژن در سالهاي 1970 در اين زمينه مجموعه اي از قوانين بدست داد، كه آن را با نام پيمان خود-زندگي نامه-نويسي مي شناسيم. اين قوانين موجب شد تا درك واضحتر و دقيقتري از خود-زندگي نامه-نويسي داشته باشيم و بتوانيم آنرا به عنوان يك ژانر ادبي مجزا در نظر بگيريم. روشن است كه با معرفي قوانين لوژن به ناچار تعداد زيادي از روايتهاي حسب حال، كه تا آن زمان خود زندگي نامه محسوب ميشدند، از اين دايره حذف گرديدند. اين تحقيق با تمركز بر دو روايت توسط دو نويسنده زن نامدار، آنها را بر طبق نظريه لوژن مورد مطالعه تطبيقي قرار داده است. هدف از اين پژوهش بررسي خاطرات دختري آراسته (1958) از بووار و جايگاه (1983) از ارنو بوده است تا با در نظر داشتن خصوصيات نوشتاري و شخصيتي دو نويسنده به اين سوال پاسخ دهيم كه كدام روايت به تعريف لوژن از ژانر خود زندگي نامه نويسي نزديك تر است. در اين بين، پيش زمينه و نقطه نظرات دو نويسنده مورد توجه قرار گرفته است چرا كه نوشتارهايي كه روايت آنها شخصي است و يا به گونه اي از زندگي فرد مايه ميگيرند لزوماً بسيار گزينشي و سوبژكتيو هستند و نمود خصوصيات فردي نويسنده در آنها غير قابل انكار است. در انتها و پس از اعمال نظريه بر آثار مورد نظر مشخص شد كه روايت بووار در مقايسه با روايت ارنو بسيار به تعريف لوژن از خود زندگي نامه نويسي نزديكتر است، در حالي كه اثر ارنو بيشتر شكل خاطرات نويسي به خود ميگيرد.
