Reading is one of the essential tools of communication. The main purpose of reading a text is to understan‎d it. The ability to read effectively facilitates the understan‎ding of written messages. Often, teachers have observed that some students can read foreign language texts well, but they have problems in understan‎ding the text. According to studies conducted in this field, these problems are often due to the lack of reading strategies among language learners. In this research, we investigated which reading strategies are used by teachers of French as a foreign language at Isfahan University an‎d which strategies are used by first an‎d second year French language an‎d literature undergraduate students. We rely on the principles of teaching reading strategies as well as the reading strategies presented by Giasson (2003, 2011) who proposed three stages of using strategies in a reading program, namely pre-reading, reading an‎d post-reading. We found that the way to use reading strategies is different depending on the method of each teacher an‎d the purpose of each reading an‎d comprehension class. However, there are common strategies between them. It can be said that all the three mentioned stages were almost present in the reading an‎d comprehension classes, but the importance that the professor gave to each stage was different. Through the analysis of questionnaires an‎d interviews with learners, we observed that learners mainly use some strategies more, such as paying attention to the title an‎d subtitles of the text an‎d finding the main an‎d secondary ideas of the text, but they pay less attention to post-reading strategies, such as summarizing.

خوانش يكي از ابزارهاي ضروري ارتباط است. هدف اصلي از خواندن يك متن، درك آن است. توانايي خواندن به صورت مؤثر، درك پيام‌هاي نوشتاري را تسهيل مي‌كند. اغلب، مدرسان مشاهده كرده اند كه برخي از زبان آموزان مي توانند به خوبي متون به زبان خارجي را بخوانند، اما در درك متن آن با مشكل مواجه ميشوند. بر اساس مطالعات انجام شده در اين زمينه، اين مشكلات اغلب به دليل عدم وجود راهبردهاي خوانش در بين زبان آموزان است. در اين پژوهش بررسي كرديم كه كدام راهبردهاي خوانش توسط مدرسان زبان فرانسه به عنوان زبان خارجي دانشگاه اصفهان به كار گرفته مي شود و دانشجويان سال اول و دوم كارشناسي زبان و ادبيات فرانسه از كدام راهبردها استفاده مي كنند. ما بر اصول آموزش راهبردهاي خوانش و همچنين راهبردهاي خوانش ارائه شده توسط Giasson (2003 و 2011) كه سه مرحله استفاده از راهبردها را در يك برنامه خوانش ارائه كرده است، يعني از پيش خوانش، خوانش و پسا خوانش، تكيه مي‌كنيم. ما دريافتيم كه نحوه كاربست راهبردهاي خوانش بسته به روش هر معلم و هدف هر كلاس خواندن و درك مطلب متفاوت است. با اين حال، راهبردهاي مشتركي بين آنها وجود دارد. مي توان گفت كه هر سه مرحله ي ذكر شده تقريباً در كلاس هاي خواندن و درك وجود داشت، اما اهميتي كه استاد به هر مرحله مي داد متفاوت بود. از طريق تحليل پرسشنامه‌ها و مصاحبه با فراگيران، مشاهده كرديم كه فراگيران به طور عمده از برخي استراتژي‌ها بيشتر استفاده مي‌كنند، مانند توجه به عنوان و زيرعناوين متن و يافتن ايده‌هاي اصلي و فرعي متن، اما كمتر به راهبردهاي پسا خوانش، مانند خلاصه كردن، توجه مي‌كنند.
