Military service presents a strategic opportunity for leveraging the scientific expertise of university graduates in promoting regional development. This research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the role of university graduates in regional development, with a specific focus on their contribution through military service within Isfahan Province. Data were gathered via questionnaires an‎d interviews involving 384 students from the University of Isfahan, followed by comprehensive data analysis utilizing SPSS, Excel, an‎d GIS software. The findings robustly indicate that the purposeful involvement of these graduates has significantly impacted the reduction of spatial disparities, enhanced productivity, improved equity in service distribution, an‎d optimized the utilization of human capital within the province. Moreover, the cohesive application of these capacities fosters new avenues for economic an‎d social advancement an‎d facilitates the effective deployment of regional potentials. Collectively, despite persistent challenges such as centralism, imbalances in human resource supply an‎d deman‎d, an‎d limited voluntary engagement within Isfahan Province, the results underscore the necessity for policymakers to implement targeted interventions. These interventions should focus on empowering less-developed counties an‎d reforming the human resource planning system to pave the way for balanced an‎d sustainable development. Ultimately, the judicious utilization of university graduates within the framework of military service is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing equity an‎d enhancing the efficiency of the provinceʹs development initiatives.
