Comparison of political, social an‎d ideological views of Kazem Kazemi an‎d Qahar Asi in the poetry of Afghan resistance literature

The present study, entitled “A Study of the Political, Social, an‎d Belief Views of Kazem Kazemi an‎d Qahar Asi,” conducts a comparative analysis of the thoughts an‎d positions of these two prominent contemporary Afghan poets. Kazem Kazemi an‎d Qahar Asi are both influential figures in contemporary Afghan literature, an‎d in addition to the artistic aspects of poetry, their political, social, an‎d belief approaches have also been widely reflected in their works. This study, using a descriptive-analytical method an‎d based on a review of written sources, poems, an‎d literary works of these two poets, attempts to answer questions about their attitude to political an‎d social issues, their belief views, an‎d the place of their thoughts in the historical-cultural context of Afghan society. The findings of the study show that Qahar Asi has mostly expressed political an‎d social issues in a harsh, protesting, an‎d justice-seeking language, an‎d on the one han‎d, has focused on the concern for the freedom an‎d liberation of the nation; While Kazem Kazemi has taken a more solid, religious an‎d identity-based view of recreating the cultural an‎d religious values of society an‎d has emphasized more on the revival of Islamic-national identity an‎d social solidarity. The results of the present study indicate that despite the differences in the way of expression an‎d intellectual priorities, both poets share a commitment to society, criticizing political-social conditions an‎d defending religious an‎d human values, an‎d their works can be considered reflective of a part of the contemporary intellectual an‎d literary history of Afghanistan.
