Collaborative Entrepreneurship refers to the purposeful and systematic interaction among individuals, organizations, and various institutions with the aim of creating value, fostering innovation, and developing economic activities. In this approach, economic actors take steps toward achieving common goals and creating synergy in the entrepreneurial process through the sharing of knowledge, resources, and experiences. Collaborative entrepreneurship is significant in that it enables the utilization of diverse human and organizational capacities, reduces the risks associated with independent activities, and meaningfully accelerates innovation and economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of innovation orientation and strategic fit on collaborative entrepreneurship, with the mediating role of knowledge-sharing culture and cooperation, among knowledge-based companies located in the city of Isfahan. The research is applied in purpose and descriptive–survey and correlational in nature and method. The statistical population consists of collaborative entrepreneurs in Isfahan, and the sampling method used was convenience random sampling, with a total sample size of 100 participants. Data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire designed based on the instruments used in the studies of Wang et al. (2021), Murray et al. (2014), and Hui et al. (2010). To examine the research objectives and hypotheses, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used, including mean, frequency, and structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of SPSS version 24 and PLS software. The findings indicate that innovation orientation has a direct and significant effect on collaborative entrepreneurship (β = 0.43), and the mediating role of knowledge-sharing culture and cooperation positively affects the relationship between innovation orientation and collaborative entrepreneurship (β = 0.28). Furthermore, strategic fit positively influences collaborative entrepreneurship (β = 0.41), and the mediating role of knowledge-sharing culture and cooperation in the relationship between strategic fit and collaborative entrepreneurship is also confirmed (β = 0.25). Given the competitive business environment, this research assists managers of knowledge-based companies in optimizing resources, strengthening a culture of knowledge sharing, enhancing collaboration, and developing supportive policies to promote competitiveness and sustainable growth.
