تحليل جايگاه موسيقي در زبان عرفاني روزبهان بقلي با تاكيد بر شرح شطحيات

Abstract The present study aims to analyze linguistic music in the commentary on the life of Roozbahan Baghli. As one of the most prominent types of mystical texts, Shatʹhiyat always has a special language that establishes a strong connection between language an‎d music. Roozbahan Baghli, herself a prominent mystic of the sixth century AH, creates a language in her commentary on Shatʹhiyat that combines intuitive an‎d mystical experience with musical expression by utilizing sound, metrical, an‎d structural repetitions. This feature elevates his text beyond the level of mystical reporting to the level of literary an‎d artistic creation. The research method in this study is based on the theory of Yuri Lotman, a prominent semiotician. Lotman believes that every text is a self-sufficient sign that produces meaning through internal relationships, contrasts, an‎d especially repetitions. Accordingly, the present study, with examples from Roozbahanʹs text an‎d their analysis in three main categories, has attempted to present a clear model of the function of linguistic music in this work. Overall, the results of this research show that linguistic music is an inseparable part of the semantic system of the text, an‎d Roozbahan represents the description of mystical experiences in a musical form by utilizing various methods of repetition. This research shows that the role of repetition in the production of meaning, based on Yuri Lotmanʹs theory, is an efficient tool for analyzing an‎d examining mystical themes an‎d can pave the way for similar studies in the field of Sufi literature.
