تحليل ترجمۀ سرگذشت حاجي‌باباي اصفهاني از منظر واژه‌گزيني

There have been discussions about the prose of Mirza Habib Isfahani an‎d the story of Haji Babai Isfahani by James Moriah have been discussed in several studies. In most of these studies only provide a cursory look at Mirza Habibʹs style an‎d grammar. Regarding his prose, it has been stated in the translation that he is one of the pioneers of contemporary Persian prose. Considering that Mirza Habib had sufficient mastery of ancient Persian literature on the one han‎d an‎d contemporary world literature on the other, an‎d is one of the most important people who founded modern Persian prose, in this regard, his choice of words can be very important. Therefore, this research aims to examine this prose from the perspective of diction. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method an‎d with the aim of proving that Mirza Habib has used a combination of old Persian prose an‎d contemporary prose in his translation of the story of Haji Baba of Isfahani, reaches a more precise conclusion in this regard that Mirza Habibʹs language is the link between old Persian writers an‎d our era.
