Copy, linguistic analysis an‎d content analysis of martyrʹs manuscripts of Dorche city

The city of Dorche has been named as an exemplar of the country because of dedication of five hundred martyrs (one martyr out of every 76 people in the population, which is unprecedented in Iran), an‎d this research aims to copy, Linguistic analyze an‎d Content analyze manuscripts of the martyrs of the holy defense in this city. In this research, the manuscripts were first collected in a documentary way, then copied an‎d compiled by considering the rules of writing an‎d editing. After that, the content of the manuscripts has been analyzed according to the subject an‎d divided into letters, wills an‎d notes. In total, 90 manuscripts from the documents of 30 martyrs were selec‎ted an‎d examined, which included 25 letters to family, 6 letters to friends, 1 letter without addressee, 18 wills an‎d 22 notes (37 pages). The introduction, correction an‎d editing of selec‎ted manuscripts have been done for the first time in this research, which can be an introduction to such researches. By reflecting on the selec‎ted documents an‎d examining them, it was found that the way the manuscripts were written was not completely in accordance with the rules of editing an‎d writing. By comparing the researched documents with each other, we can see that the amount of punctuation used has a direct relationship with the level of education.
