Abstract
One of the most important parts of the supply chain of the oil products production industry in general and the bitumen production industry in particular are the transportation contractors who are responsible for delivering the product to the customer (as a distributor). In this research, by presenting a model, the performance of the companyʹs transportation contractors was evaluated based on the characteristics and requirements related to the large supply chain.
At first, the theoretical foundations of the research were presented. These basics included lean, agile, resilient and green approaches in the supply chain, and the performance criteria related to each approach were stated according to past research.
Then, with the fuzzy Delphi method, the selected criteria for evaluating the contractorsʹ performance were determined according to the research literature and the opinions of industry experts. These criteria include on-time delivery, low rate of wrong deliveries, customer satisfaction, quality of loading, the amount of monthly withdrawal of the product compared to the amount of remittances, change in the amount of loading and delivery of the product according to the customerʹs needs, reduction in delay times, Improving relations with customers, cooperation in critical and special situations, the number of trucks under ownership, modernization of the transport fleet, the number of trucks under 25 years old.
In the next step, the weights of the criteria were obtained by the opinion of experts and by the best-worst method.
In the following, the performance of the options in the criteria was calculated. The information related to the criteria and options as well as the weight of the criteria and the performance of the options were entered in the Visual Promethee software and the preference functions and p and q values were determined and finally the final ranking of the contractors was obtained.
