The aim of the present study was to develop an‎d validate a scale for assessing CliftonStrengths in girl children aged 6 to 10 years an‎d to compare these strengths between gifted an‎d typical girl children. The statistical population included all elementary school girl children (ages 6 to 10) in Shahreza County during the 2024–2025 academic year. This study was applied in terms of purpose an‎d employed a survey design of instrument development an‎d causal-comparative type. A simple ran‎dom sampling method was used, an‎d a total of 330 girl children (30 gifted an‎d 300 typical) were examined.In the process of developing the instrument, 77 items were initially extracted based on the theoretical framework an‎d relevant scientific sources related to the CliftonStrengths model. After eva‎luating face an‎d content validity by experts, the items were reduced to 40. Construct validity was assessed through exploratory an‎d confirmatory factor analyses. The results supported the construct validity, convergent validity, composite reliability, an‎d overall reliability of the scale. The final scale consisted of 10 components an‎d 40 items.To compare CliftonStrengths between gifted an‎d typical girl children, an independent t-test was conducted. The results indicated no significant differences between the two groups in the overall CliftonStrengths scores an‎d most components; however, gifted girl children scored relatively higher on the reliability component. These findings suggest that CliftonStrengths are not necessarily dependent on high cognitive ability an‎d that environmental, educational, an‎d personality factors also play a crucial role in their development. Moreover, the developed scale can serve as a valid an‎d reliable instrument for assessing CliftonStrengths in girl children aged 6 to 10 years.
