تبيين دلالت‌هاي كاربست روايت‌هاي تاريخي در متون اخلاقي فارسي سده نهم ق

The purpose of the present study is to explain the implications of the apply of historical narratives in Persian moral texts of the ninth AH century. In the moral texts of this period - as in many other historical periods - history is not an impartial narration of past events, an‎d the correspondence of the historical narrative to reality is not necessarily the moralistʹs concern. The usefulness of history for teaching moral lies in the instructive nature of history an‎d historical events in general, an‎d for any moralist, in the possibility of giving meaning an‎d finding meaning for historical events, because historical matters do not contain meaning in themselves an‎d it is the writer who makes them speak. Therefore, the apply of history in ethical texts has often been in a constructive manner an‎d in the form of historical narratives. In the first step, this research intends to examine, using an interpretive an‎d library study method, eleven moral texts written in the ninth AH century an‎d to analyze examples of the use of history in these texts in order to answer the question of how history applied in Persian moral texts of the ninth AH century. In this research, it has been assumed that history has always been of interest to ethics due to its prominent features. Features that have provided the necessary background for the authors’ goals.
