This research examines the use of similes as one of the most effective an‎d commonly used rhetorical devices in the Quran. The study shows that the combination of words an‎d vocabulary that have semantic harmony an‎d coherence creates a pleasant rhythm an‎d music in the speech, which influences the audience. This rhetorical device is not always used alone an‎d is often combined with other rhetorical devices such as metaphor, hyperbole, coordination of attributes, an‎d rhyme to present the intended content better an‎d more beautifully. In the last five parts of the Quran, the combination of similes with other spiritual devices such as allusion, exaggeration, coordination of attributes, an‎d rhyme has created a harmony an‎d coherence of meaning between words an‎d phrases in the verses. This combination, along with verbal devices such as analogy an‎d rhythm, not only creates harmony an‎d coherence of meaning but also creates pleasant music an‎d rhythm in the Quranic verses, attracting the attention of every reader.
