Analysis of language an‎d gen der in different narratives of Mah Pishuni folk tale

The theory of language an‎d gender was first proposed by Robin Lakoff in her famous article titled "Language an‎d the Status of Women," which created a dramatic revolution in sociolinguistic studies; in fact, she announced for the first time that womenʹs language is different from menʹs language. From this perspective, the present article analyzes the relationship between language an‎d gender based on the model presented by "Lorato" in various narrations of the story of Mah Pishuni, which is one of the folk tales of Persian literature. The relationship between language an‎d gende has attracted the attention of researchers in recent decades in various fields, including sociolinguistics an‎d literature. The present study examines an‎d analyzes the vocabulary of different narratives from the perspective of language an‎d linguistic context in the selec‎tion of vocabulary, an‎d in the next step, with semantic engineering from a gender perspective an‎d using the content analysis method. This study aims to identify the extent to which semantic engineering is used to convey meaning in the context of speech. Therefore, it explores an‎d analyzes the patterns of co-occurrence, frequency, an‎d distribution of cases an‎d syntactic structures that affect words, as well as the different meanings of a word that sometimes do not fit into dictionary definitions but are perceived as such in the lexical context. The story of "Mahpishoni" is one of the famous stories in Iranian childrenʹs literature. This story is about a girl named Mahpishoni who has special characteristics. The language of the story is simple an‎d innocent, so that it conveys the emotions an‎d experiences of the characters well. Mahpishoniʹs gender is shown as a little girl with characteristics such as kindness, courage, an‎d curiosity, which are presented in a positive an‎d inspiring way in the story. Language an‎d gender are complex an‎d interesting topics that are studied in many fields, including linguistics an‎d sociology. Language can be influenced by a personʹs gender, an‎d in turn, imbalances in power an‎d social roles can affect how language is used. The research method used in this study is based on content analysis with a descriptive-analytical approach of various narrations of the story of the moon in order to use the theoretical foundations of "Alessan‎dra Lorato" in the analysis of folk tales as a model to analyze numerous folk tales in a reasoned an‎d consistent manner in Persian literature. With a critical tool that can identify an‎d describe the powerful role of language in socializing; focusing on the linguistic dimensions of folktales an‎d texts rather than content, it draws the readerʹs attention to a multi- layered analysis of language; in such a way that the audienceʹs focus shifts from individual words to higher-level textual structures an‎d aspects of discourse.
