The purpose of this research is to discover an‎d understan‎d the psychological components in married women who do not want to have children. This research, which is considered as a qualitative study, has identified these components using the "Theme Analysis" method. The samples were collected by purposeful an‎d snowball sampling. Semi-structured interviews were done with 10 married women living in Isfahan, who were 25 to 40 years old an‎d had been married for at least 4 years. After obtaining consent from the participants an‎d recording an‎d implementing the interviews, data collection continued until saturation. The obtained information was analyzed using the seven-step method of Colaizzi. The codes resulting from the initial analysis were categorized with the codes that were conceptually similar to each other, an‎d a title was considered for each category. Then by merging different categories based on common concepts, more general categories were created an‎d finally the results were organized in the form of themes. Then, the obtained themes were drawn in the form of a theme network for better explanation. The findings of this research led to the identification of eight psychological themes of perfectionism, fears an‎d psychological insecurity, cognitive errors, avoidance of responsibility, defense mechanisms, personality traits, childhood experiences an‎d unpreparedness for parenthood in married women. Among these themes, fears an‎d psychological insecurity, perfectionism, avoidance of responsibility an‎d unpreparedness for parenthood confirm the findings of previous researches. Due to the psychological nature of this research, other themes are more recent an‎d include those psychological factors that are more internal.
