Teachersʹ job performance is of great importance as one of the key factors in improving the quality of education. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between spiritual health and teachersʹ job performance mediated by self-confidence in elementary school teachers. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of its method of implementation, and was of the correlation type. The statistical population consisted of elementary school teachers in Khomeini City, Isfahan Province in the academic year 1403-1404 (N=1270). Regarding the statistical population, the sample size included 291 elementary school teachers in Khomeini City, Isfahan Province, 291 teachers who were selected using cluster and stage sampling methods. The Polotzine and Ellison Spiritual Health Scale (1982), Bahrami Job Performance Scale (1401), and Chen and Yang Self-Confidence Questionnaire (2006) were used to collect data. The results showed that there is a relationship between spiritual health and job performance and self-confidence of elementary school teachers. There is also a relationship between self-confidence and job performance of elementary school teachers. Spiritual health has a direct, positive and significant effect of 0.68 on self-confidence, self-confidence also has a direct, positive and significant effect of 0.37 on job performance. Spiritual health also has a direct, positive and significant effect of 0.38 on job performance. The indirect effect of the spiritual health variable on job performance through the mediator variable of self-confidence is 0.25.Therefore, it is recommended that educational organizations, in accordance with their human resources, organize empowerment programs aimed at promoting education and achieving spiritual health, and also establish the necessary foundations for implementing spiritual health within the workplace.
