In recent years, achieving sustainable transportation has become a key and vital issue for managers and employers. In order to achieve this goal and encourage people to use public transportation instead of using private vehicles, the performance of different transportation systems should satisfy the users. Considering that Isfahan province is considered the third most populous city of our dear country and considering that currently not all metro lines in this city have been put into operation, and considering that so far a study from the perspective of performance indicators for normal bus lines This city has not taken place; It is necessary to conduct a study considering the importance of the usersʹ point of view towards these indicators. The desirability of a bus system is measured by performance indicators. Considering that the bus system in Isfahan city has not been investigated from the point of view of these indicators, in this case study, the most key performance indicators and sub-indices such as bus, safety access, driver, fare, station, counter-gate, Service and information on the selected lines that receive the largest number of passengers and also provide good geographic coverage of the city have been evaluated. For this reason, with the help of simple random sampling method and unlimited population formula, 333 samples were prepared, of which 15% are for experts and the rest are for people. It should be noted that the questionnaire in the existing study consists of four parts, and people have answered the first three parts and experts have answered all four parts. In the following, the views of the experts of the unit company and passengers, which were collected by the questionnaire, were analyzed with the help of descriptive, analytical and inferential techniques in SPSS 28 software. The results indicate that among the performance indicators of the Isfahan bus system, the indicators 1-safety, 2-service, 3-access, 4-driver and 5-bus are the most important indicators from the perspective of the people (passengers) and the experts of the single company are known. Also, line 91 has the lowest level of satisfaction compared to other lines in three of the five most important indicators, i.e. bus, service and driver indicators. Considering the necessity of achieving sustainable transportation indicators, it is necessary to pay attention to other indicators in addition to paying attention to important indicators and improving their performance in vital bus lines
