The presence of ethical ideas in Arabic and Persian poetry, derived from cultural and religious education, has added a unique richness to Arabic and Persian literature and poetry. Mohammad Ali Shamseddine is one of the creative poets from Lebanon, and Shahriar is one of the creative poets from Iran. Both poets give special attention to ethical concepts in their poetry. Their poetry is filled with educational and ethical themes. Therefore, studying the educational and ethical concepts in their poetry is important and necessary. The aim of this research is a comparative study of the educational and ethical concepts in the poetry of Mohammad Ali Shamseddine and Shahriar. For this research, the poetry of Mohammad Ali Shamseddine and Shahriar was analyzed in terms of educational and ethical concepts. The results of this study show that although these two poets share similarities in some ethical concepts such as patience, reliance on God, sincerity, submission, trust, humility, contentment, justice, mercy, and others, there are differences related to their culture and social disparities. Each poet sought to highlight how ethical concepts are perceived based on their cultural, social backgrounds, and personal experiences. The topic was addressed based on the theory of the American school of comparative literature, using the analytical-descriptive method.
