Abstract
Artificial Intelligence, as a fundamental and prominent agent of todayʹs global transformations, has a profound impact on the educational process, especially in developed countries. The influence of this new technology on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of teaching and educational processes is unprecedented; therefore, this research was conducted to examine the relationship between factors affecting the acceptance of artificial intelligence tools (based on the UTAUT 2 model) in the teaching process of elementary school teachers in Shahreza County. This research is applied in purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of methodology, with the statistical population including all elementary school teachers in Shahreza County (500 individuals) for the academic year 1403-1404. The sample consists of 227 elementary school teachers selected through stratified random sampling proportional to size. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire for the acceptance of artificial intelligence tools was used. Data analysis was conducted at two levels: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics utilized frequency, percentage, and frequency distribution charts, while inferential statistics included median, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis. The analysis of the research hypotheses was performed through structural equation modeling using the software (SPSS 24) and (SMART-PLS 3). The findings indicated a positive and significant relationship between the acceptance of artificial intelligence tools and user behavior, with the mediating role of behavioral intention among elementary school teachers in Shahreza County. Additionally, the results showed that expected performance, expected effort, social influence, facilitating conditions, and habit directly and indirectly impact user behavior. However, pleasure motivation and perceived value indirectly influence user behavior, with the behavioral intention variable serving as a complete mediator in the relationship between these two variables and user behavior. Furthermore, the findings showed that the pleasure motivation component has the greatest impact, while the habit component has the least effect on the acceptance of artificial intelligence tools in the teaching process of elementary school teachers in Shahreza County. Based on these findings, designers and developers of artificial intelligence tools, the Department of Education, and all stakeholders in the field of education can facilitate the use of artificial intelligence tools in the teaching process of elementary school teachers by considering appropriate measures, empowering teachers in this area, and holding training courses, in-service training, and webinars, thus enabling the educational system to benefit from the countless advantages of using artificial intelligence tools in the teaching process.
