This research aims to investigate the role of repetition in the poetry of Saeb Tabrizi, one of the most prominent poets of the Indian style.
The research method in this thesis is library-based and descriptive. Evidence and examples were extracted by studying Saebʹs Divan and using appropriate software, and finally, the topic was analyzed and examined using them.
In the first and second chapters, the theoretical foundations of the research, including the definition of repetition and the characteristics of the Indian style, as well as the background of research in this field, are presented. In the third chapter, the types of repetition in Saebʹs Divan are extracted and analyzed. Finally, by analyzing the types of repetition in Saebʹs Divan and examining its relationship with various themes of poetry, it was concluded that repetition not only acts as a linguistic tool, but also as a structural and semantic element in Saebʹs poetry.
Saeb, by creatively using repetition, has given depth, beauty, and effectiveness to his poetry and achieved literary innovations. Repetition in Saebʹs poems has helped to emphasize the poetʹs intended themes and has made the words more persuasive and persuasive.
Also, this research shows that repetition in Saebʹs poetry, as one of the prominent features of the Indian style, has given identity and personality to this style. This research, while emphasizing the importance of repetition in Saebʹs poetry, provides the ground for future research in the field of stylistics and literary devices.
