مطالعه¬ي روابط بين تمدن¬هاي بزرگ هميشه انعكاس¬دهنده¬ي عمق ارتباطات ميان ملت¬ها در طيف وسيعي از روابط است كه از اين ميان روابط دو تمدن بزرگ ايران و چين در دوران باستان از منظرهاي مختلف مورد توجه مورخان و پژوهشگران بوده است. پژوهش پيش¬رو به بازتاب روابط بين تمدن ايران و چين باستان در متون اسلامي پرداخته و آن¬ها را در قالب روابط فرهنگي، ديني، اقتصادي، سياسي، حماسي و همچنين موقعيت جغرافيايي از زواياي مختلف بررسي نموده كه نشان دهنده¬ي عمق ارتباطات و همچنين حاوي اطلاعات مهمي درباره¬ي شناخت مردم دو ملت و امپراطوري بزرگ از هم و تأثيرات¬شان بر يكديگر است. درواقع گزارش¬هاي بخش¬هاي تاريخي متون اسلامي از روابط ايرانيان با مردمان چين باستان از ارزش و اهميت زيادي برخوردارند. در كل بايد گفت كه اين دو تمدن از نگاه مورخان اسلامي از اقليم¬هاي بزرگ زمين بوده¬اند و از پادشاهان گرفته تا تجار و دريانوردان همگي به شناخت هرچه بيش¬تر اين دو كشور و مردمانش علاقه¬مند بوده و اطلاعاتي درمورد نقشه و موقعيت جغرافيايي، دين، آداب و رسوم، اقتصاد، فرهنگ و روابط سياسي چين و ايران در دوران باستان ارائه داده¬اند كه با يك دسته¬بندي در قالب انواع روابط در اين پژوهش آمده است.

Ancient Iranian and Chinese Relations According to the Islamic Sources

The study of relationships between major civilizations has always reflected the depth of interactions among nations across a wide range of connections. Among these, the relationships between the two great civilizations of ancient Iran and China have been a focal point for historians and researchers from various perspectives. The present research examines the reflections of the relationships between the civilizations of ancient Iran and China in Islamic texts, analyzing them from different angles, including cultural, religious, economic, political, and epic relations, as well as geographical positioning. This analysis demonstrates the depth of their interactions and provides significant insights into the mutual understanding of the two nations and empires and their influences on each other. In fact, the accounts in Islamic texts about the relations between Iranians and the people of ancient China, particularly in the historical sections of these texts, hold great value and importance. Overall, it can be said that these two civilizations were regarded by Islamic historians as major realms of the Earth. From kings to merchants and sailors, all were interested in gaining a deeper understanding of these two countries and their peoples. They provided information on the map and geographical position, religion, customs, economy, culture, and political relations of ancient China and Iran, which have been categorized into different types of relations in this research.
