Elite sports are now a major pillar of the global sports industry, contributing significantly to the economic, cultural, and social development of nations. One of the most vital aspects of sports development in a country is competitive sports, which not only enjoy widespread popularity but also serve as a cornerstone for national socio-economic growth. Developing elite athletes to achieve national honors is of great importance. Today, significant attention is given to the lifestyles of elite athletes. This study was conducted with the aim of enhancing their social status. This research was conducted with the aim of elevating the social standing of elite athletes. This study is applied in nature and falls under the qualitative research category in terms of data. Experts in the fields of sports management, sociology, psychology, sports psychology, and elite athletes participated as contributors in this research. The sample was selected using the snowball sampling method. The interview process continued until theoretical saturation was achieved, with a total of 10 participants. The results indicated that the subthemes of internal factors include the athleteʹs communication, social activities, personal factors, personal media, family-related factors, factors related to achievements and honors, and lifestyle-related factors. The subthemes of external factors include advisors and managers, community-related factors, club-related factors, organizational factors, government-related factors, and media-related factors. The main themes, subthemes, and factors related to strategies for social status include social strategies, strategies based on organizational support, and strategies based on individual performance. Enhancing specialized knowledge, improving competition results, games, and sports encounters, government support, support from government organizations and non-governmental associations, media support, administrative support from relevant organizations, proper talent identification, providing athletes with appropriate salaries, and monitoring media behavior are among the recommendations of this study.
