A comparative analysis of Niraqiʹs Taqdis Treatise with the principles of positive psychology reveals that many of the concepts presented in this classical work are consistent with the foundations of contemporary psychology. Centuries ago, Niraqi addressed topics such as optimism, gratitude, self-knowledge, and personal growth, which are now at the center of attention for positive psychologists. This congruence demonstrates that wisdom and mysticism are rooted in psychological principles, and the teachings of religious and mystical figures can be used as a rich resource to enhance mental health and human happiness. Therefore, combining Niraqiʹs perspectives with the findings of positive psychology can provide a comprehensive approach to improving quality of life and achieving lasting happiness.
