Marriage is the most important contract in every personʹs life and the factor for forming a family. In some marriages, couplesʹ relationships gradually become conflicted and ultimately lead to divorce. Divorce is one of the most important factors causing psychological distress, and women experience more psychological distress than men. The types of challenges that these women face after divorce can affect their readiness or lack of readiness for remarriage. Therefore, the aim of this research was to discovering Influential Factors and development of remarriage readiness questionnaire in divorced women without children. Considering the aim, a mixed methods research exploratory-sequential type was used in this research. The qualitative part of the research was conducted using a Grounded theory method. The participants in this research were 15 people who were selected through purposive sampling from divorced women without children living in Karaj city who had been divorced for at least six months. The findings from the semi-structured interviews with the participants were continued based on the principle of theoretical saturation and the data were analyzed through the three-stage open, axial and selective coding techniques of Strauss and Corbin. From the results of the data analysis, 6 main categories (individual factors, factors related to previous marriage, social and cultural factors, family factors, conditions of the suitors and religious factors), 26 subcategories and 86 concepts were extracted. According to the findings, 15 subscales of fears and concerns, feelings of weakness and need, sexual needs and problems, reasons for remarriage, readiness for remarriage, unhealthy motivations for remarriage, seeking recovery and recovery, improving skills and asking for help, demographic characteristics, analysis of costs and benefits of remarriage, freedom from previous relationships, background of previous marriage, stigma of divorce, social/normative barriers and barriers related to family support were determined and based on this, a questionnaire with 47 items was designed. The findings of the present research, can help divorced women to be aware of their situation and better understand their needs and expectations, examine their readiness or lack of readiness for remarriage, so that they can make better decisions and choose a life partner with a more open and informed perspective to establish healthier and more stable relationships. Also, identifying these factors can help psychologists and family counselors to provide better programs and services to support divorced women in the remarriage process.
