Researchers realized the potential of pictorial language in judging not only the eloquence of imaginative linguistic structure, but also the text as an integrated image. Therefore, our research came with the aim of clarifying the methods of graphic images in the poetry of Haider Al-Hilli and Ahmed Al-Waeli, and linking these methods to the topics that depicted the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them. In addition to exploring the artistic aesthetic that these methods gave to the studied texts, while studying the similarities and differences in artistic aesthetics between the images of Ahl Al-Bayt by the poet Haider Al-Hilli and the poet Ahmed Al-Waeli. The importance of this study comes from monitoring the image in the poetry of poets as an imaginative linguistic entity with integrated dimensions, and not just imagination or an imaginative structure that reflects a specific intellectual intention structure, as well as explaining the aesthetics of the graphic image through which the two poets depicted the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them, in their various topics. We relied in this study. The descriptive-analytical approach, with its analysis tool, helps us analyze the text and extract its values, by entering into its textual structure, exploring its aesthetics, and linking it to the subject studied. The research will also use the comparative approach in comparing between the poets on the topics studied, to reach points of agreement and difference between them, as We concluded a set of results, including that the two poets, in forming their metaphorical graphic images, followed the method of personification and embodiment in the service of their poetic purposes, whether it was praise or lamentation. In both cases, the two poets were referring in their praise of the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them, to the qualities they possessed, which were qualities. The prophets, as well as in the lamentations, were referring to the characteristics of the Ahl al-Bayt, which leads to preferring them over all other creatures. Likewise, the simile and metaphorical artistic image in general in the poetry of the poets, in the chapter of praising the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and their lamentations, aimed to clarify the merits of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, their virtues, and their superiority over all others. To show that they are the most deserving of people to take over the affairs of Muslims after the Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
