Literary translation is an artistic process aiming to transform the original text into a beautiful and artistic version using word choices, sentence structures, and emotions. Similarly, a novel is a type of literature centered around stories, including descriptions of characters, scenes, and events, often reflecting the values, beliefs, and history of a society, aiding in better understanding cultures, and being able to analyze social and cultural issues and provide criticisms or suggestions in this regard. Migration literature is a broad field in world literature that, in the form of stories, poetry, plays, and novels, explores various impacts such as cultural change, identity conflicts, travel, and life in new environments. The current novel titled "Metro Aleppo" deals with the subject of migration literature and is the work of Syrian-Kurdish author, Mah Hasan, born in Aleppo, Syria in 1966, who migrated to France in 2004. She has published numerous works in the field of migration and exile literature, one of which is the book "Metro Aleppo," first published in 2014. In this book, the author beautifully portrays the experience of a female migrant from her homeland to a foreign land who, faced with the conditions of war and the threat of death in her own country, decides to migrate to another country. This work conveys her experience of loneliness, isolation, and profound changes in her life to the reader. Considering that the desired book is a literary work, this research aims not only to transfer Arabic literature and literary structures to Persian-speaking readers but also to serve as a means of shedding more light on the conditions of migrants from war-torn countries for those interested in the Syrian issue and migration literature in other countries. Translating this book as a literary work can promote cultural approximation and interaction between Arabic and Persian literature.
