The purpose of this study was to fit the career self-management model in students of university of Isfahan. The research method is quantitative and descriptive, using correlation and path analysis. The statistical population included all undergraduate students of University of Isfahan in the second half of the academic year 1402-1403, from which 360 people were selected as the sample size using spss-sample software. Also, the participants were selected through available sampling.
Data collection tools were NEO five-factor personality questionnaire, the career decision self-efficacy scale, the student outcome expectation questionnaire, the perceived social support questionnaire, the career goals questionnaire, the career exploration questionnaire and the career indecision questionnaire. Data analysis was done using the statistical method of Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis and using PCFI, PNFI, TLI, CMIN, NFI, CFI, RMSE and chi-square indices, and spss-24 and AMOS-20 software.
In the career self-management model, social supports and personality traits as predictor variables, through self-efficacy and expected results, exploratory and actions goals as mediating variables are related to decision-making as a dependent variable. The findings of the research showed that in the fitting of the model the relationship path of social support with outcome expectation was positive and significant (p<0/05). Also, the self-efficacy of career decision-making has relationship with the outcome expectation (p<0/001), career goals (p<0/001), career exploratory (p<0/001) and career indecision (p<0/01). In measuring the impact of personality traits, it was also found that openness, conscientiousness and extroversion had a relationship with career decision self-efficacy (p<0/01, p<0/001 & p<0/001). Also, the relationship between openness and career goals and the relationship between neuroticism and career indecision was also significant (p<0/01 & p<0/001). And finally, the findings of the study showed that the career self-management model has a good fit in the students of University of Isfahan.
