ترجمه و به دنبال آن نقد ترجمه، امروزه ماهيت بينارشته‌اي يافته است. ترجمه به معناي انتقال صحيح معنا از زباني به زبان ديگر است. در حوزه نقد ترجمه نيز نظريات مختلف و متعددي مطرح شده كه نظريه كتفورد هم يكي از آن‌ها مي‌باشد. پژوهش حاضر سعي دارد با تكيه بر اين نظريه به بررسي ترجمه آقاي بهمن رازاني از رمان اللص والكلاب نجيب محفوظ بپردازد. اين پژوهش در حوزه نقد ترجمه و بر اساس الگوي تغييرات صوري مقوله‌هاي دستوري كتفورد است و قصد دارد با استفاده از مراحل استخراج، نمونه‌يابي، طبقه‌بندي و توصيف، به تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها بپردازد. در اين پژوهش تمام متن رمان و متن ترجمه آن مورد مطالعه و بررسي قرار گرفته و داده‌هاي مورد نظر استخراج شده و به روش مقابله‌اي ذكر گرديده است. در گام بعد نيز تمام موارد طبق نظريه كتفورد دسته‌بندي و نظام‌مند گرديده است و در نهايت نتايج آماري آن را به قرار زير ارائه مي‌كند: بيش از 50% از تغييرات ساختمان، 70% از تغييرات طبقه، 65% درصد از تغييرات واحد و 20% از تغييرات درون دستگاهي ايجادشده در ترجمه آقاي رازاني لازم و به جا بوده و اما عدم ايجاد بقيه تغييرات، در فهم متن ترجمه شده خللي وارد نخواهد كرد و ضرورتي ندارد.

A Critical Review of Translation: Bahman Razani from Najib Mahfouzʹs al- lis va al-kilab and the point of view of Katfordʹs theory of levels of change

Translation and translation criticism has become interdisciplinary nowadays. Translation means the correct transfer of meaning from one language to another. In the field of translation criticism, various theories have been proposed, Catfordʹs theory being one of them. Based on this theory, the present study tries to investigate the translation of Najib Mahfouzʹs Al-lis va al-kilab novel by Mr. Bahman Razani. This research is in the field of translation criticism and is based on the pattern of formal shifts of Catfordʹs grammatical categories,and it intends to analyze the data by using the steps of sampling, classification and description. In this research, the entire text of the novel and itʹs translation have been studied and analyzed, and the desired data has been extracted and mentioned in a confrontational way.ln the next step , all classified and systematized according to Katfordʹs theory, and finally, the statistical results are presented and follows: more than 50% of building shifts, 70% of class shifts, 65% of rank shifts and 20% of intra system shifts made in Mr. Razaniʹs translation are necessary and appropriate, but the lack of making other shifts in the understanding of the translated text is a problem lt will not and there is no need.
