The current research was conducted with the aim of developing a teaching model based on wisdom theories for gifted school students. The research method that was used for this purpose was qualitative and the research method was thematic analysis (King and Harrocks method). Qualitative data were collected from the collection of Persian and English translated books, articles and research related to the wisdom-based teaching model for gifted schools. In this regard, all the materials from books, articles and sources related to the wisdom-based teaching model and wisdom theories were categorized and extracted, and the data were classified by taking notes. Each of the data was registered in a separate list and a specific code was considered for each title. Data collection took until saturation and then their classification was done. Finally, 17 main topics for wisdom-based teaching model were obtained, which were validated by experts. The main themes are: 1- providing a suitable platform for adaptation, 2- comprehensiveness, 3- strengthening studentsʹ self-awareness, 4- accepting themselves and others, 5- strengthening emotional intelligence, 6- paying attention to the basic needs of humans, 7 - Empathy skills, 8- Principles of teaching, 9- Humor in teaching, 10- Strengthening problem-solving skills, 11- Teaching decision-making skills, 12- Strengthening values, 13- Attention to different thinking strategies, 14- Balance in teaching, 15- Paying attention to practical intelligence, 16- Strengthening continuous learning, 17- Paying attention to moral issues in teaching. The result is that in order to use the teaching model based on wisdom theories in gifted schools, it is necessary for teachers, educational system and families to pay special attention to this basic and important issue and the necessary planning to organize the existing conditions, opportunities and obstacles to its realization
