The aim of the current research was to identify the lived experiences of resilient teenage girls and develop a counseling package based on it and compare the developed package with positive counseling on resilience and parent-teenage conflicts. The research was based on a mixed approach with a sequential exploratory design and included two qualitative and quantitative parts and four implementation stages. The research population included adolescent girls in the first and second secondary grades based on the purposeful sampling method of 11 resilient adolescents who were included in the Connor and Davidson Resilience Questionnaire. Those who scored above 80 were selected, and in the qualitative part, in the first stage, data collection was done according to the phenomenological method. At this stage, while interviewing resilient teenagers and identifying their lived experiences, an educational package based on lived experiences and research texts and literature was compiled and validated under the supervision of experts. The data analysis was done as a seven-step Claysey method, and finally the findings include three main concepts, attitudinal, spiritual, and behavioral orientation; conflict resolution model; psychological capitals and ten sub-components, spirituality, resilience-facilitating behavior. Correct attitude towards problems, problem-oriented and emotion-oriented conflict resolution, positive emotion, self-awareness, thinking pattern, action pattern, flexibility were discovered. In the second stage, after the content obtained from interviews with resilient teenagers based on integration and coordination in order to complete the qualitative plan, components and counseling approaches with empirical evidence in the field of resilience in the form of a resilience training package. The basis of the existing background was designed. Then, the developed protocol was validated by asking for opinions and making the necessary corrections by five experts in the field of adolescent resilience. In the third quantitative step, in order to determine the sample members, the subjects of both groups were first evaluated with the research tools of the Connor and Davidson Resilience Questionnaire and the Parent-Adolescent Conflicts Questionnaire. There were two intervention groups22 subjects received the contents of the compiled resilience package intervention in the form of one and a half hour weekly sessions, and 22 subjects of the positive counseling group received the content in the form of one and a half hour weekly sessions. After collecting the data for data analysis, SPSS 26 edition statistical software and univariate and multivariate analysis of variance method to test the validity of interventions and differences between groups and the method of variance analysis with repeated measures to measure competitive validity and comparison The interventions were effective. The findings showed that both packages had significant effectiveness in increasing resilience and reducing parent-adolescent conflicts in adolescent girls, and the developed counseling package was more effective in resilience and reducing parent-adolescent conflicts compared to the positive-oriented counseling package. Based on the results of the qualitative part of the research, psychologists and counselors have emphasized the creation of methods to promote resilience and effective individual and group counseling based on the themes emerging from the present study.
