The current competitions among countries, driven by the pursuit of economic growth and development, pose challenging and intricate issues. Studies demonstrate that energy-producing countries must not only focus on environmental sustainability but also promote cooperation with energy-consuming countries. Consequently, competition among countries for access to energy resources also leads to the creation of environmental tensions. For this reason, this thesis aims, through interdisciplinary analysis using energy security theory, to guide countries towards the use of renewable energies, which, in turn, accelerates economic development. On this basis, the main pupose of this thesis is analysis of the role of renewable energies on global energy security. To address this purpose, it has been divided into three sub- hypothesis, the results of which collectively provide insights into the main purpose. And finally, we examined the available data based on the futures studies. In dealing with the first and second hypothesis, which are somewhat overlapping, we will look at how renewable energy affects the energy security of producing and consuming countries. The findings of this research indicate that fluctuations in the supply of fossil energy, restrictions on access to these resources, changes in energy prices, using energy as a political lever, and Reckless use of fossil resources leads to increased greenhouse gas emissions and climate change, posing a risk to global security. In response to these effects, there is a need for solutions such as using renewable energy to address the energy security challenges of both producer and consumer countries. In the last hypothesis, the effect of renewable energy on environmental security is investigated, and the research results show that despite playing a role in the economic growth and development of different countries, fossil energy was also the source of widespread problems that caused Turning to renewable energies.
