Although this trait is rooted in human nature, but for a scientific and accurate investigation of this issue, it is necessary to explain the concept of philanthropy in detail and the harmful factors in this field. Be identified fromWhere the best and most comprehensive source for explaining various issues in Islamic societies is the Qurʹan, and the examples and harms of philanthropy are carefully considered in the Qurʹan and hadiths.
Therefore, it is necessary to identify and collect the harms of philanthropy in the Qurʹan and Hadithreaching the supreme goal of this action. The current research with analytical-descriptive method Investigating the harms of philanthropy in different dimensions of the donator of philanthropy, the act of philanthropy and the audience of philanthropy deals with the interpretations of al-Mizan and Noor al-Saghalin by using verses of the Quran and hadiths. Based on the results obtained regarding the harms of philanthropy in the Qurʹan, 112 verses without repetition Extracted and in the interpretations of al-Mizan and Noor al-Saqlain, the interpretation points and hadiths related to the topic below each entry are stated. Also, in cases where there is a hadith or an explanatory point in the interpretations in question has not been found, from other books such as Bihar Al-Anwar, Tafsir al-Mushon, Arshad al-Qulob, Asul enough concepts has been used. In this research, it was determined that the harm caused to the donator of philanthropy with Paying attention to the verses of the Qurʹan 11 cases including: pride and arrogance, deign , giving worthless property, hypocrisy and excess and negligence, delay in beneficence, pride, bad companionship, non-continuity of doing good deeds, good deeds without reasoning and lying; 4 cases of damage to the receiver of philanthropy include: ingratitude, fault-finding, begging, lack of effort, and despair of Godʹs mercy; And the damages related to the act of philanthropy included 6 Cases: Donation from safekeeping’s, vowing to an idol, slaughtering a child, vowing without the husbandʹs permission, philanthropy from the husbandʹs property without the husbandʹs permission and donating pelf.
