Considering the location of Kerman city on the border of mountains and plains and theadjacent areas of this city, the present research has modeled earthquakes in the far and nearareas and evaluated its impact on the old texture of Kerman city.From the point of view of architecture, Kerman city has a very old central structure,mainly made of clay and mud buildings, which have a high degree of vulnerability.Based on the detailed and scientific investigations, the degree of earthquakevulnerability is one of the essentials of urban management in Kerman and the main reason for choosing this city as the study area.The research method includes information analysis, methods based on the database and the Electre Fuzzy model, which is used in order to weight the indicators and variables used in the fuzzy model, and then in order to identify the degree of vulnerability of the physical fabric of the city, using GIS weighted indicators. were placed in a function. The results indicate that the 4th and 5th urban areas of Kerman are the most vulnerable areas against earthquakes. In the zoning of earthquake risk vulnerability in Kerman city, the area of high vulnerability is 28% in zone 4 and 23% in zone 5, so it can be said that more than 50% of the area with high vulnerability rating is located in these areas. In another stage of this research, after identifying and investigating the active faults in the region, the seismic power of the faults was calculated with the formula MS = logL + 4.5. Also, by emphasizing the direction of movement of faults (striking, stretching, reverse), the map of the width of different faults was drawn using the zoning method. Then, by adapting the boundaries of faults and the location of urban and rural population centers, the areas exposed to earthquake damage were identified. The results of the research show that the cities of Kohbanan, Kianshahr, Hajdak and Barawat are located right on the fault boundary and Golbaf city near the fault boundary, as well as hundreds of villages are located on the fault boundary. After the stages of assessing the level of vulnerability of the old structure, it has been modeled and specified the places subject to destruction in front of the earthquake using the object-based method. The places under threat of destruction have been marked with CHIPS and marked on the pictures, then all the similar places in the study area (urban area 4) have been identified.
