The purpose of this study was to provide a model for the privatization of sports clubs in Iraq. The philosophy of the present study is based on interpretive and positivist paradigms based on the principles of experimental sciences. Also, the approach of this research was inductive type, its strategies were data theory of Glazer Foundation and survey method and its type was mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population of this study was in the qualitative section of experts. Also, the statistical population of this study included a small number of experts in the field, including university professors, managers, coaches and employees of basketball clubs. In the qualitative study, snowball sampling method was used to select the participants in the research and the available sampling method was used in the quantitative study to select the research samples. In the qualitative study based on theoretical saturation, the number of participants in the study was 17 and in the quantitative study, based on the analysis method (structural equation model), 20 samples were selected for each hidden variable (factors). Since 12 hidden variables were identified in the qualitative study, the sample size in the study was considered to be 240 people. The data collection tool in the qualitative study was open interview and in the quantitative part was a questionnaire. To evaluate the quality and validation of the research results, Lincoln and GABA (1985) evaluation indicators were used, which included validity, transferability, reliability and verification. It is worth mentioning that in a quantitative study, face validity and then construct validity were used to evaluate the validity of the research instrument. In order to evaluate its reliability, 30 questionnaires were distributed in a case study and the total reliability of the questionnaire was 0.937. To analyze the data in a qualitative study of the thematic analysis technique of Brown and Clark method (2006), to examine the relationships between the themes identified in the quantitative study of structural equation modeling and finally to measure the validity of the structure and the interaction between variables The research used the second-order confirmatory factor analysis and interpretive structural modeling of the partial least squares approach, respectively. By reviewing the interviews with experts, finally 77 final concepts and citing the results of the relationships between the identified concepts, 12 sub-themes and five main themes, such as context level, interaction level, support level, implementation level and outcome level. Formed. The results also showed that the privatization of sports clubs in Iraq is subject to five levels, at the lowest level of underlying factors and at the highest level as the output of the result level system. In addition, the relationship between the relevant items and structures was confirmed at the confidence level of 0.95 and it was found that at the 99% confidence level, a significant causal relationship between the implementation level and the outcome level (β = 0.625), the level of interaction and the level There are results (β = 0/171), interaction level and support level (β = 0/575), context level and interaction level (β = 0/642), support level and execution level (β = 0/743). In contrast, the relationship between support level and outcome level (β = 0.129) was not significant at 95% confidence level. Finally, at 99% confidence level, the field level indirectly affects the execution level (β = 0.275) through the interaction level and the support level. Based on this, in the privatization of sports clubs, it is necessary to pay attention to the mentioned factors according to their role according to the relevant managers and policy makers.
