Quran chronology is a science that seeks to achieve the exact or approximate time of revelation of the Surahs and verses of the Holy Qur'an. This approach, which has its roots in the first interpretative comments by the Companions and followers under titles such as the cause of descent or Meccan and Madani, is implemented with the help of various intratextual and extratextual evidence. Due to the lack of evidence in exact dating, sometimes even inconclusive evidence can be helpful and bring us closer to the possible time of descent. The combined and simultaneous use of evidence such as the lists of the order of sur descent, commentators' views, narrations and history seems necessary. In this thesis, along with other evidences raised in the science of history, attention has been paid to the use of the most beautiful names of God and attributes in different surahs (Asma al-Hasni) during the revelation of the Qur'an. The main goal of the current research is to discover the connection between the use of Asma Al-Hosni names and the historical decline. For this reason, all the names of al-Hasani in different surahs have been extracted and analyzed using a descriptive, analytical and statistical method. Then, the number of uses of Asma al-Hasani's names have been analyzed by separating the usage in Makki and Madani surahs, and further, the type of their usage, which are only specific to the description of God or are also used for other than Him. In the next step, the investigation of the process of using Asma al-Hasani names is focused on the surahs that either have differences in their Meccan and Madani status, or there is doubt as to the exact time of the revelation of the surah in Mecca or Medina. Also, the surahs in which Asma al-Hasani has a different number or application compared to other surahs have been discussed. In this direction, wherever needed, the opinions of expert commentators in the field of dating, such as Ibn Ashur, have also been referred to. In this research, it has been clearly determined that the use of Asma al-Hasani names is related to the time of revelation of surahs. For example, according to the difference in the use of names such as "Allah", "Rab" or "Rahm@n", it is possible to achieve a more precise position of the suspicious or disputed sur in the lists of the order of descent. Of course, the discovery of all aspects of this relationship requires a lot of accuracy and patience of researchers. This thesis has provided raw materials in the form of various tables and statistics for these researchers.
