The new conditions of the international system have caused new components to play a role and countries to use new tools to achieve their goals and secure their national interests, the most important of which is the use of public diplomacy as a tool of soft power.
The transformation in the concept of power, which is referred to as "soft power", is considered as a measure to optimize the foreign policy of countries. Also, public diplomacy is one of the tools that governments pay attention to in order to influence soft power more. In the current situation, countries are trying to bring the country's public opinion with them through various economic, cultural and These actions have led to the promotion of public diplomacy and the strengthening of soft power.
After the collapse of the Eastern Bloc and revision of its foreign policy, Turkey adopted an active and realistic policy and sought to become the first power in the region and a model for the Islamic world. But this goal of Türkiye requires many conditions; In addition to military power, it must be at a high level in other aspects such as cultural, economic, ideological, demographic and scientific geography. In this research, using the descriptive-analytical method, Turkey's public diplomacy has been examined with an emphasis on digital diplomacy of this country in the period of 2010 to 2022. The main question of this research is "How has Turkey used digital diplomacy as a tool to secure national interests in its foreign policy?" Following this question, the hypothesis has been proposed that Turkey has used digital diplomacy as a tool to secure national interests in its foreign policy by properly using the desired messages to its target audience.
The findings of this research show that Turkey has expanded its influence in its surrounding countries by using digital diplomacy and attracted a large audience, which had an impact on the economic development of this country. Turkey's public diplomacy has been and continues to be extremely important in the foreign policy of this country during the last two decades. The activities of this area are based on historical, linguistic and literary commonalities with the countries of the Central Asia and Caucasus region and with the aim of expanding relations with the governments. With the expansion of the Internet and the digitization of many activities on the Internet, Turkey has followed this progress with the use of digital diplomacy seriously in its communication development program, and the officials of this country are using digital platforms to communicate with their contacts and convey messages from this In these years, Turkey has implemented a series of influence and public diplomacy methods with the digital diplomacy method, which has been very effective.
