The aim of the present study was discovering the family context of employability in students of Isfahan University. The method of conducting this research was qualitative and grounded theory type. The research population was all students of Isfahan University in the academic year of 1399-1400, Sampling was done purposefully. The samples of this research were undergraduate students of Isfahan University in the second semester of 1399-1400 and from all faculties. 22 students whose employability score was one standard deviation higher than the mean in Poole and Sewellʹs scale (2014) were selected, 22 students whose employability score was one standard deviation higher than the mean in Poole and Sewellʹs scale (2014) were selected. Then, in order to obtain data and achieve the objectives of the research, a semi-structured interview was conducted with the students, With the number of 14 students, the data reached saturation. Then Strauss and Corbin analysis method and selective, open and axial coding were used for data analysis. In this way, during three stages of coding, the results obtained include 8 selected codes, with the titles of authority structure, family bond, emotional atmosphere of the family, objective conditions of the family, view of the family and the world, family communication structure, individual strategies in the career and Family strategies were on the career. According to the findings, it can be concluded that the role of family context in the employability of students is in different ways. This means that family factors can be the context, cause, facilitator or intervention in studentsʹ employability, And this shows the effective role of the family in the employability of students.
