Human resources and specialized, committed and ethical workforce are essential for the progress and development of any country, and this is achieved in an important institution such as education and by key elements such as teachers. The importance of the quality of education and attention to the moral education of learners in the contemporary era, when we are witnessing the expansion of social networks, changing values, and as a result, studentsʹ lack of motivation and academic decline, has made research on ethics and the teaching profession essential. The overall goal of this research is to recognize and criticize the ethics and character of teachers from the perspective of caring ethics and to present a model consistent with this perspective. This research has been conducted using a progressive analytical-deductive method. In this approach, first, the concepts and components related to the character and conduct of teachers were analyzed and explained, and then, by formulating their philosophical foundations, the educational implications were deduced and categorized in two educational and training dimensions. The educational dimension of teacher character includes ease in teaching, diversity in content presentation, teacher preparation, and the skill of establishing communication and linking the subject matter with other subjects, education based on the needs and interests of the learner, collaborative learning, interdisciplinary thinking, the instructorʹs knowledge of himself and the learner, attention to developmental needs, awareness and mastery of the subject, and the educational dimension includes teaching care for students and creating a caring atmosphere, empathy, honesty, patience, communication and sincere conversation with students, respecting the respect and dignity of students, paying attention to cultural differences, self-knowledge and godliness, observing fairness and justice, and humility. After deducing and explaining the components of teacher character in the two educational and educational dimensions, a teacherʹs ethical model consisting of educational principles and goals based on epistemological and anthropological foundations has been designed with the aim of addressing the challenges ahead in the educational system. Among the criticisms made about the contents of this approach, we can point out the damage caused by the dependency and attachment of the cared-for to the caregiver, the lack of generality of using this approach by all teachers, and the different feedbacks of the cared-for in the caring relationship according to individual and cultural differences.... Analyses show that the characteristics of the teacherʹs character based on caring ethics and Islamic and monotheistic ethics have many common aspects, and their combination can enrich education and satisfaction of learners. Therefore, the teacherʹs ethics, attention and emotional support, and caring and empathetic outlook can have a significant impact on the behavioral patterns and activism of students, create harmony, empathy, and altruism, and increase motivation for academic progress.
